Good lord John. It is probably wise for you not to drink and post. I'm guessing that you don't have a clue who Bruce is or what the history is behind the Gallery of the Peoples or you would not even dream of posting that sort of snarky comment no matter how much alcohol you consumed that afternoon.

John - Dealers from around the world traveled to la Manzanilla to buy from Bruce because he has the best eye in the business for great Mexican folk art and his prices were incredible. Other art galleries bought items at retail from from him for resale in their galleries. I think that fact speaks to the silliness of your claim.

John, do yourself a real favor and visit Bruce before he closes. Bruce is patient and he is always willing to take the time to educate anyone who walks through his door about the history of Mexican folk art and artists. He will treat you with respect, educate you, and you will be glad that you listened.

Bruce is a noted published authority on both Mexican folk art and American Indian art. I was with Bruce when a noted university museum asked Bruce to identify items in their collection that the museum experts could not identify. That is how respected Bruce is within the native arts community. University museums will call him for help when they are stuck.

Closing the store is a big loss to all of us. Gallery of the Peoples was a true treasure.
