Laurel, yes, very glitchy the Primera website and same thing for me when we were trying to book online. Worked fine 3 years ago, printed up 5 tickets here, presented them to the lady handling it all down at the pickup at V. Carranza and Aguacate. But last year, I couldn't get it to work like you. Especially weird that the seats you choose don't stay chosen and every time you try to book you notice different seats are now taken. Say wha...? No problem once on the bus though, having taken it several times both ways. I also like traveling with AutoTransportes Cihuatlan but I don't think you can buy from them online. We usually take them back to PV from Melaque, as they leave at a good time of day (while Primera leaves like at 2am!). I would get over to Melaque at least 2 or 3 days ahead to buy ticket/reserve a seat.
