Abel and the Art Classes for L:a Manzanilla Kids

I took this photo at last Friday's tianguis, of local resident Abel. He is an artist and art teacher, who teaches art to over 100 children in La Manzanilla. Abel's son Ulysses is one of the La Catalina scholarship students - he's very creative and wants to continue his studies to be an architect. Abel is always trying to raise funds to buy art materials for his classes, by selling the art that the children make. His efforts provide a creative outlet for the local kids, especially during times when there is no school and things are pretty slow in our town. Hope you can support him by buying one of the kids' pieces!
