Urgently needed:Disaster Relief for 2 Mexican children and pregnant mom!

Eduardo's family has suffered a disaster - they lost their home last week. (Eduardo is the 18 month old boy born without a femur in La Manzanilla). Their are no relatives who can assist and the children's father is unable to help them. Eduardo's mom has been selling off all their belongings to put food on the table and diapers on Eduardo; now they have nothing left. Eduardo's 4 year old sister and his 8-months pregnant mother are staying with friends until Monday. After that, they are homeless. They are reaching out to the La Manzanilla community for help. On behalf of Eduardo's family, we invite anyone who has any ideas at all on how to help this family in the immediate future (and in the longer term) to come to a meeting at the Rincon Beach Restaurant on Sunday at 1:00 pm with ideas and options to help these 2 ninos and their mama. Their most immediate need is accommodation suitable for a newborn; and baby things - stroller, clothes, crib, etc. Note: We got to know Eduardo's mom 4 years ago when we hired her for yard work and house keeping and teaching us Spanish. She is a hard-working, efficient worker, very honest and trustworthy as well as a very patient teacher. We have seen this loving family fall on hard times and wish to assist them to becoming self-sufficient once again. Please come with your suggestions to Rincon Restaurant 1:00 pm Sunday.
