Ode to Boogie Plucked in his prime Yet laughing… with dorado on the line Pulling and reeling Pulling and reeling Pulling and reeling What a ####ing feeling! This was no trout NO! A mighty maji maji hooked tight Slashing and arcing Boogie pulling and reeling… That dorado on the line A stitch in time Boogie pulled one last jig Then crossed the line Boogie went big To the place of his dreams Where fat fish swim plentifully And the golden sand shimmers Beneath warm lucid sea waters Dolphins and whales And mermaids too Boogie´s still laughing And ridin´ the line His spirit is with us His smile, his style Boogie´s still fishin´ And will be for a while
