... and it works! I've never forgotten my first class with Roberta in Vancouver - she says it has to have been over 20 years ago. I had just had another experience in African dance that was not fun!! We were supposed to take it very seriously, and be gearing up for a performance, and I froze. All I felt was shame to have let the team down. Roberta's class was entirely different. We ended up making a chain of "African" dancers out the door of the gym, and onto a big field just moving and shaking and really appreciating the music. Does it sound like I'm looking forward to this?
