Get a seat near the front of the plane ($15 extra on westjet), have only carry on, catch a taxi rapido to the downtown bus stop to Barra de Navidad at V Carranza and Agucate, ask the driver to let you off at the Cruzero (turnoff) de la Manzanilla past Boca de Iguana. If all goes well you would arrive just before 5pm and could even catch the local bus when it heads to downtown La Manzanilla. If you miss that bus, there is a 2nd class about half an hour later that takes 5 hours and has no bathroom (and no horrible violent movies which is a bonus!) In this case you'll most likely need to catch a taxi from Melaque.
