As to the previous post, if it is pretty much settled in a permanent location, the plates are really not much of an issue. Lord only knows how many RVs are being used this way in Mexico.

If it was brought into Mexico on a 10 year permit, yes it would have to return to the border, get a new U.S. title (assuming it came from the U.S.) and a new 10 year permit. Then it can be pulled over the road in Mexico.

More detail about the rig would probably be good here.
