Dear volunteers, friends and animal owners of La Manzanilla, Rebalsito, Los Ingenious, El Programa, La Rosa, Barra de Navidad, and other small villages ,
Thank you so very much for helping, donating and bringing your animals to the 11th annual Cisco's Amigos Free Spay and Neuter clinics in La Manzanilla and second year in El Rebalsito.
Both clinics were great successes. 68 in EL Rebalsito( 2 days) and 157 in La Manz( 3 days).
There were so many volunteers there is no way I could name them all but there are a few that certainly need a huge huge and recognition of there tireless work.
Pam, thank you for 11 years of heading up recovery. The most intense job there is.
Marcia, your long hours in surgery and then hosting the Veterinarians in your home is beyond the call of duty. That deserves a huge thank you.
Katherine, your hard work in organizing the volunteers makes it all work and way easier for me to concentrate on other details. What would I do without you?
Katerina in El Rebalsito, you are the angel I've been looking for that has made it possible for Cisco's Amigos to go other small villages and it's working. I wish I had 10 of you. Thank you.
Thank you Drs. Beto of Melaque, Oscar of Hildalgo and Rosio of La Manzanilla for coming and helping out.
Thank you for all the deviled eggs. Ask and they will arrive as they say. I don't think I'll be able to eat another one for a week or 2.
Thank you Dave and Nancy for loading dirty dogs into your cars and trucks to get them to the clinic. That little bit of help makes a huge impression on our Mexican friends.

Thank you Rusty for putting up with my passion. I know it's not easy to live with me sometimes. You are my strength.
And of course, Thank You "Cisco" for being in our hearts.

Thank you All.

Update:
http://guardianlv.com/2014/02/single-injection-dog-sterilization-zeuterin-available-starting-monday/
I wish that I could say this new injectible sterilization medicine will solve all of our problems with the overpopulation of dogs in Mexico, but if you read this article carefully you'll see that Zeuterin decreases the testosterone levels in male dogs , but not completely. That means that males dogs will still have the desire to do their thing with the females in heat. The terribly contagious cancer called TVT(Transmissible Venereal Tumors) is spread by sexual contact and contact with the bleeding ulcerative tumors so Zeuterin is no solution for the Coast of Mexico's male dogs. I wish it were the answer to our problems.
There were 2 cases of this in El Rebalsito and there is at least 1 case being treated here in La Manz. Please be careful with your dogs. It can happen very fast.
