Maestro Abel has asked me to translate and post his invitation to his group's latest fund-raising venture. They have even more students signed up for this year's program, so they can use whatever help we can lend more than ever. "¡Hola Amigos! I extend to you all a cordial invitation to attend an exhibition of the La Manzanilla Art Project, an ongoing program to teach art to the children and young adults of our pueblo. The exhibition is this Saturday, February 22 from 10:00am to 4:00pm at the “plaza of the crocodiles” on the road to Quinta Valentina restaurant (just down the street from Chely's hardware store). The gallery of our school of art lies there. Most of the funds to run the free, non-profit school for the kids comes from the gallery, allowing us to reopen the school each summer after school lets out. To be a part of this important project, we await your visit and you participation in the La Manzanilla Art Project exhibition this Saturday. ¡Gracias!"
