Last night's gathering was such a joy for me. Thanks so much to everyone who came, for listening and sharing your own stories, comments and questions. I felt honored by you all. For those who didn't make it, I have a few copies of the book left (In Awe of Being Human: A Doctor's Stories from the Edge of Life and Death). Send me an email if you want one, and I'll find a way to get it to you. Price is $15 US or 200 pesos. (Discount down to $10 US or 130 pesos if requested.) I will also drop a few books at the book exchange so you can go there as well. Charles and I are donating the evening's proceeds to Casa Luz and Nansee's support for a local child. What a wonderful community this is!
