Hello Myranda; I have met and spent time with this little family while I was in La Manzanilla. I held Eduardo and was entranced by little Chelly. You have undertaken quite the burden by taking on this little family. I thank you for your dedication to their cause. I have a daughter and grandchildren and it is only by the grace of God that they all are fine and doing well. But should their circumstances have been different I would of wanted someone to come to their aid. It is not important what has brought this little family to this stage in their life. What is important is that we do what is right as God has instructed us to. Love one another. What we have is a naive young woman, a young boy who has a future of painful surgeries and a 4 yr old that deserves to enjoy her childhood and a new baby, a gift from God. Prior to leaving La Manz I had made arrangements for this family to receive food from a local store. Then I saw that the community had got involved on the message board and bowed out and came home to Canada. This is my first time back on the message board since my arrival and to say that I am shocked is putting it mildly. I have $500.00 for you Myranda, just let me know how to get it to you. I know you will do what is best with the money. This summer we will be having a local music festival in our area and I will be approaching the organizers to see if I can fundraise for the upcoming surgeries. I will also be approaching my church to see if they can donate to his cause. You never know the little guy may end up a doctor some day. lol God Bless you for caring and give them all a hug for me.
