Glad this is coming up for discussion - I would think that grey water is fine to release directly into the ocean. What is the difference between sending it directly, or having it buried underground to become part of the ground water, and still eventually make its way to the sea? If there is some other factor I am unaware of, I'd love to know about it. Right now, the grey water from my house waters the garden directly, and because of that, I am conscious that I should not dump chemicals, paints, etc. down the drain. What to do with them is another question, though. Maybe some kind of filter system?
