A group of Irish ex-pats in La Manzanilla is planning an evening of Irish music, song, dance, food, drink and celebrations at Lora Loka´s on Monday, March 17th 6pm ´til closing time at Lora Loka´s on Maria Asunción Street.
All are welcome.
The evening program will consist of:
* live Irish music, song and dance featuring a variety of performers experienced in the traditional Irish/Celtic music style
* Irish storytelling
* Irish poetry
* Irish pub-style singsong
* a traditional style Irish supper
The traditional style Irish supper will feature such foods as prawn cocktail for starter (prepared in a Dublín Bay meets Mexico style),
a main course of ham, cabbage, and assorted colourful vegetables, and for dessert a colourful and delicious carrot cake or apple cake.
Traditional Irish drinks such as Guinness, Bailey´s Irish cream, Irish whiskey and Irish Coffee are all being sourced.
After the ´formal´part of the evening (6-8 pm approx) concludes, the pub-style singsong will commence so bring your song, story, joke, poem, or other Irish/Celtic party piece to share with friends old and new. (Remember there´s nothing really formal about the Irish especially at a party).
Tables/seat are going fast so act now and book early to avoid disappointment.
So get ready for a REAL IRISH PARTY on the BIG DAY itself.
