Not to discourage, and it can be quite interesting, but make sure you know what to expect before committing to a crossing. It can be a little expensive if you have a couple of passengers ( I guess it depends on your definition of expensive, though). Add a trailer and the price really goes up. If the weather is marginal it can be a rough ride. Some people don't expect that. Be sure and total the cost and check the weather before traveling.
