The roadwork to widen the highway starts in Jose Maria Morelos, and ends in El Habel, at the start of the uphill grade to El Tuito. Several short stops for trucks, etc.. It took 4 hours to get to the airport, about 1/2 hour longer than the norm. The road is at times very narrow, and in places with significant vertical drops on both sides. Few signs, flagmen, etc. Very dusty at times. I would not drive this road at night, given the current conditions. Safe travels, Mike |
