Maria's many animals update

I'm happy to report that most of Maria and Don Luis' 6 dogs and 17+ cats are almost all neutered or spayed. There are a couple of very wild young cats that refuse to be caught, but I'm still trying. Now starts the process of getting them all de-wormed. A big thanks to Rhonda and John, Dianne and Doug, Susan and Jim and Dan and Jeanie for the donation of pet food. The dog food is almost all gone so I'm suspicious neighbors have been helping themselves. Lynne Willard has offered to keep the food at her house and distribute food on a daily basis. Thank you Lynn. And of course a huge thank you to Dra. Rosio. She has made all of this possible by greatly reducing her fee and by using supplies from Cisco's Amigos. If you can help out with buying more food there are donation cans at Marisco's Deli, the Bookstore and Palapa Joe's. Thank you to those that have already donated. We live in a wonderful community that comes forward to help. And if you don't know who Don Luis is, every morning at 7:45am he walks all the way over to the Central Salud with his adorable shaggy dog Bobby and sweeps the front of the building. He then returns home by 9am. I'm pretty amazed.
