Rocio told me today that her tejón was brought in to her clinic as a mal-nourished and sick baby. Rocio nursed her (she's a girl) back to health, and calls her "Chiquilla". She is now 7 months old.
The tejón is quite friendly, but Rocio says she is still wild and may try to bite you, so be careful!
Here's another photo of Chiquilla from today. She seems to be able to stand on her back legs for some time!
