Jean,

Amen. I loving having, and seeing you time honored Colorado pragmatism. Did you witness this? Exactly? I did see, or I should say I did not see any response to your post. Hummm indeed.

To add to your inquiry, one might be tempted to delve into the following . . .

#1. Your question goes first. It is the best.

#2. I lived right next to the said Mexican woman with said babies for 2 years. I can tell you for a fact, Jack, that she utters not a single solitary word in English.

#3. I have have been witness to several occasions where the said Patrona of said Mexican woman has asked both I, my wife and my son to provide English/Spanish translation services so that these 2 said persons could communicate. Thus, said Patrona of said Mexican woman utters nary a unitary, coherent set of 2 sentences in Spanish. That I can tell you FOR SURE.

#4. Given this, one might wonder how such detail over said event was gleaned with such full depth of understanding so as to launch into this dire warning on the LM Message Board.

#5. If said event did occur, and giving the benefit of the doubt to the said Mexican woman, would it not stand to reason that given that said Mexican woman is the mother of these children, it would seem a bit odd that she did not first reach out to a Mexican legal entity, namely the Police, for assistance and protection of the children, post haste if not faster.

#6. In addition, if said event did occur, again let's say it did, then it might also stand to reason that the said Patrona of said Mexican woman would also follow the path of utilizing the legal system to address this issue. Afterall, said Mexican woman was able to meet with a governing official when she just recently came to LM so as to be given official, documented (she showed us the paper) permission to supplicate. Therefore, one would have to reason that availing oneself of such social services is not foreign to either of them.

#7. I know for a fact what happened and I need not utter it here.

#8. When one speaks or writes, one should understand that their musings, passages or prose might have to stand up to: What I said. What I thought I said. What you thought I said. And when you couple that with all of us, who saw this post, well, we have to think: What I heard. What I thought I heard. What you thought I heard. Draw all the permeatations between those six nuances and you can see how this sort of 'chicken little' approach could easily warp into something far beyond what it really is. And that is what has happened.

Just sayin'!

Thanks for prompting me to stand with you and shake my head at this.

Rick
