Singer with last name Mitchell from BC

We were at the Bamboo bar a coupleof weeks ago during the day and were listening to some great music just on the speakers. I asked the owner and he told me it was someone Keith or Kevin Mitchell from the Island in BC??? We really enjoyed his music and would like to buy a CD of his but aren't sure is we have the right name. Anyone out there know??? thank you
