We've been coming to LM each year for ~15 years, and the Tianguis is a special part of our experience there. Each Friday we have an early breakfast at Cafe Risa and watch the Tianguis emerge. Somehow we are able to purchase a bit of something each Friday.
I'm sure that it is a challenge to manage, and hopefully the community is able to extract a bit of money from the vendors for that effort, but not knowing the intricacies of that relationship, I am only guessing.
We truly support the current location, and encourage the continuation of the event.
