Those little blue, green,yellow birds on the dusty roads are actually the Orange Breasted Bunting. The Painted bunting has the intense red breast and no yellow.
We have beautiful birds here on the coast, especially this time of year as they migrate north. It's why I love this time of year.

Another beautiful bird that has just arrived from the south is the CitreolineTrogon. They have a very distinctive call that can be heard up on the hills in the early morning.
