Looks like the computer models have focused together more and are keeping this system more offshore, along the usual storm track. Rain for La Manz? Possibly some from this one, more likely just the usual land-generated thunderstorms.  Excerpt from NHC: "A low pressure system located about 150 miles south-southwest of Zihuatanejo, Mexico, is showing signs of organization this morning. Environmental conditions are expected to be conducive for gradual development, and this system will likely become a tropical depression during the next day or two while it moves generally west-northwestward at 5 to 10 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...60 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent." |
