In the Norse country of old, Friday was Freya's day. She had equal status with Oden originally, could have her pick of fallen warriors in her heaven, and was Goddess over gold, pigs, and fish. There are 13 moons in a year, which made 13 a special number. A combination of Freya's day and 13 was terrific....that is until the conquerors came along with a new god and had to make Friday the 13th. unlucky....hmmmm? Maybe it's time to change our minds again?
