Hi Cissie, I am a certified teacher (Wyoming and Colorado)in technology/industrial arts but have focused on teaching in STEM areas (science, tech, engineering,math. I have plans to be in La Manz for at least a month, October 15- December 15. This is subject to change, but thought I'd touch base with you. I have lots of teaching experience, love one-on-one! I've taught at university level, high school, middle school in Colorado and Wyoming. I'm retired now, but miss teaching so much I still substitute quite a bit. FYI.....I think your granddaughter must already know about this wonderful website, https://www.khanacademy.org ANYTHING you need to know about math, or other subjects, are there. Also, has been translated in to Spanish. As I say, I have secured a rental there for two months, and have volunteered for Catalina Foundation down there, love them. Let's stay in touch Dottie |
