It's all relative (and not just the humidity)

I love Bret's keeping us aware of storms, rain, etc.

But I do have an issue with the temp X relative humidity to equate to a "feels like" temperature.

In the central valley of California (Sacramento, Chico, etc.) we often get temps well over a 100 F. At those times, going outside is like stepping into a furnace.

Here, in LM, no matter what the temp or the humidity, it's simply a steam bath. Rains are nice, fans are crucial (so power outages are the worst)and though our house has air conditioning in the bedrooms, the only time I wanted it was when the power was out a few weeks ago.

Bret, you're welcome to come over and sit under the air conditioner in the guest room (assuming that the power is on).

It's all relative when it comes to heat.
