Hey, I feel your pain, man! It's pretty hot today. Here at my place it hit 95.9°F / 35.5°C. That is the 3rd hottest day this summer (after 96.4°F on June 18 and 96.3°F on July 13.) So far the afternoon highs this July have been averaging 92-94°F, so today is noticeably higher. Also the humidity increased today which makes it "feel" even hotter (kind of a double whammy.) Combining today's high temp with the corresponding relative humidity of 59% yields a Heat Index of 115°F / 46°C. That's about the 2nd highest HI this summer (I don't calculate it every day.) So it's hot by several definitions.  (We now resume suffering already in progress...) |
