Hola, Bret! I use this as a pretty accurate indicator of daily rain here: http://smn.cna.gob.mx/boletin/avisos/tormentas/maptormenta.jpg It isn't always right on but usually close. CNA also shows a 60% chance of "lluvia fuerte" for both Jalisco and Colima today and tomorrow. They show a tropical wave offshore that probably has something to do with it. Lots of unsettled weather out in the Pacific right now, as you noted. We're experiencing what's normal here in Merida during summer afternoons - very noisy thunderstorm, a little wind and a short, hard rain. Clearing up as we speak. Still very hot though. Keep up the great reports! |
