Marie is strengthening as predicted and is now a Category 1 hurricane. The latest prediction says it will get up to Cat 4. It's still staying well offshore, so we should not get any winds and the rain possibility is uncertain. http://www.wunderground.com/hurricane/east-pacific/2014/hurricane-Marie?map=5day  Heavy surf is a more likely danger from Marie.
