Hot enough for ya?

Hurricane Marie is just a memory of a few days of cooler weather and rain showers (not to mention big waves all along the Mexico and California coast.) The heat has been coming back the last few days and yesterday set a record: 97.2°F / 36.2°C, breaking the previous record of 96.8°F / 36.0°C set back on July 9th. Combined with the matching afternoon humidity reading of 52%, the heat index hit 112°F / 45°C. That's hot enough for me! I don't see any hint of tropical storm development for at least the next few days, so all we can hope for is the random thunderstorm cool-down...
