Well, we didn't get the winds from the back side of Odile (something I don't understand but Bret does) but we are sure getting the storm surge. Big ass waves are hammering and at times getting over my little 2 ft wave barrier which is located right in front of the peace storm cam. The stump that the cam is sitting on has gotten wet and has sand and sticks around it How often do you get live hurricane coverage from a cam located in the ocean! One of the big logs ended up on Loka Lara's patio, I don't know where the other two went, down the beach someplace. I think the biggest of the waves have happened but I don't trust this ocean at all, its very capable of producing a set of waves which will top any set that has come in yet. Some of the waves are huge, I would say around 10 ft? We are heading for a nice low tide at 1 am, that should be enough to put us in the clear.
