The progress of Invest 90E is following the predictions, more or less. It's still just a big area of somewhat disorganized thunderstorms well south of Acapulco. It's got a 50% chance of becoming a cyclone by Wednesday AM, and 90% by Sunday. It might not finish developing until after it passes by us.

The closest approach to La Manz looks to be Wednesday night or Thursday, anywhere from a few miles offshore to over 200 miles. The latest computer models are spread out somewhat, reflecting uncertainty in the predicted path:

Last night we had another good lightning show but no measurable rain. We're getting some light rain right now, but it's local blob action, not the Invest (yet). We might get some more today and tonight. Still nothing definite on our chance of heavy rain from Invest 90E, though.

I heard Melaque got some heavy rain last night, with some street flooding. Anyone know more?
