My understanding, Sherri, is that hard-covers do not sell . . . maybe our woossie old wrists won't hold them up . . . or they knock over our cervezas when we prop book on bottle . . . or they're just too heavy to carry around in beach bags. They are sold, when they do show up, uninvited, on the bookstore's front step, for 5 pesos. Doesn't make much sense to pay to bring them down and then have them earn so little. |
