One of Don Luis's Animals

As many of you probably remember when Maria died last February , her husband, Don Luis, was left with 6 dogs and 21 cats along with chickens ducks, doves and who knows what else . One pup went to Dean and Daniella. The otherpup stayed behind. We thought someone was going to take him to Michoacan over the summer, but that didn't happen. With the help of Cisco's Amigos, Lynne and LIsa all of these pets have been fed and taken very well care of. Food has also been donated to help out with the cost. I'm now happy to tell everyone that the second puppy, Fritz, has found a wonderful forever home in Barra .Look at that happy face!! The remaining dogs are all fine where they are. Mamma dog is blind and the other 3 are pretty attached to Don Luis. But we do have the cats to find homes for, hopefully in other towns. I'm afraid they would head back home if they were adopted by people in La Manz. If you would like to adopt a healthy, spayed or neutered cat please let us know. They are all very nice kitties.
