Hi Everyone. I am starting a small,free community newspaper/newsletter for La Manzanilla and the area. Each monthly edition will include information on up-coming events, entertainment, a feature about one of our local residents or business, essential services and emergency numbers and a map of La Manzanilla. As well there will be articles on health, food, arts and music, history and culture, pets and wildlife and celebrations and fiestas. The goal of the paper is to help create a stronger connection in our community through information sharing and to promote better cultural awareness to those new to our town. A strong focus will be on encouraging the support of our local Mexican business and services. The paper will be available at locations around town as well as in Melaque and hopefully soon Barra. I will also be distributing at the Friday Market and along the beach.
