As long as your phone is UNLOCKED you can just go to celmex and get a sim card (100 pesos) and pay 150 pesos for air and data time and off you go. The entire process took 15 minutes with my iphone. When I return to Canada, I just remove the sim card, install my old telus sim card and I am back to normal. The celmex system allows for local and long distance calls (which are not all that expensive).
