Ahh, citation needed, good call Larry. My statement will be difficult to back up with just a link or two and even more difficult seeing as I don't do much Canada news. I would say the citation would come mostly from statements of Canadian's themselves during some events of the past e.g. when Robin Wood was killed and other negative news. One way to sum up what is happening is "Too much corruption, we want regular corruption". The solidarity comes from others experiencing the same thing where they live. Notice it is not "we want to elliminate corruption completely". To be really honest with ourselves we are each corrupt, just not as much as "they". |
