every year is basically the same: You need to connect everything, make sure that the receiver has a green light on (this tells you that you are receiving a signal), then you need to do a refresh of the receiver via your internet and computer (this can be done via a phone call to shaw but do not tell them that you are in mexico), after that wait 20 or 30 minutes for the receiver to get the new downloaded information, this year we had to wait for 24 hours for the new guide to appear. Now if you have problems, first check your dish alignment (I am assuming that you are using a system that was previously working from last year), if you brought down new equipment, then you have to start from scratch and first aligne (aim) the dish.
