Doug, I am not heading North but am interested in the drive. I'm contemplating this drive in June possibly. What are the roads like, lodging recommendations, time frame and the like?? This will be my first "drive" to SW México.
Any information will be helpful.

Just got back from a drive to nogals yesterday, roads were fine, certainly go up 200 to Tepic then the cuto the rest of the way, can be done all the way to Arizona in 21 hours

I am looking for places that most peeps feel comfortable staying the night in and where as I want to experience a relaxing sightseeing drive.

I just want company for the drive Its always god to have a 2nd
person around in case of a break-down etc. I have driven this route many times. Also any one that would like to caravan in another car-P.U would also be fine doug
