Dog needs home

This dogs owner had to leave town and it now needs a home. It spent most of
its time tied to a tree but is healthy and likes to go on walks. He would make
a good guard dog as he barks at strangers but not people he knows.

Just keeping this lovely dog at the top of the page, until a new owner is found. He as been well cared for and loved. His original family is not to blame for the current situation.

I am the person caring for this female dog. She seems to be quite smart and willing to please. She recognizes her name, I don't think she had one last week. She is getting better on a leash and will sit when told. I am hear for 2 more weeks and hope someone will step up and adopt this beauty.

We are running out of time. This beautiful dog needs a home or someone to take over foster care and take up the search. Any ideas are most welcome; we can't just turn this dog loose to the streets and fly away to our other lives in the north. Thank you for any ideas.
