Joy as a Shortcut to Our Survival

Posted by Roberta Meilleur on March 9, 2014, 11:39 am

A free talk (and hopefully a discussion) at Casa Luz Wednesday March 12th at 7:30pm.

This inaugural presentation offers a sure way to wake up the humans asleep on this planet (which pretty well refers to all of us) the quickest and most pleasant way possible.
Your input and feedback to this concept is most welcome.

Sounds fascinating - do we start with joy, and see where it takes us?

We start with a couple of quantum science principles, add research on the power of joy, point out the logical conclusion, address possible blocks to joy then (optional), experience a quick shot of joy to take home.
Look forward to seeing you there Carol!

Alas, we're previously committed at that time. Yes, Carol, it does sound fascinating! Will you be giving another talk, sometime, Roberta?

No this isn't religious or anything about religion. Thanks for asking Mishel, as it allows me to clarify. This is information that I've become aware of through my studies, work and experience about the power of joy. It's based on recent research and scientific understanding and relates to our future as a species I hope you can make it to get the whole picture.

I too wish you could come to your presentation, but I absolutely love the singalong with Will and Ann at 7:30 at the Club tonight. It's wonderful and I think a lot of the same folks would want to attend both events!

Roberta, thank you for your stimulating presentation.

I like your joyful premise, but I feel that you deserve to take a closer look to differentiate between real science and pseudoscience. I consider "muscle testing" to be in the realm of pseudoscience. Just like with name dropping, referencing the words Quntam Physics with the word Consciousness does not make them connected. I suggest you read this critical review of the film "What The Bleep Do We Know" which was produced by followers of the Ramtha cult for their own Self-serving benefit (10 million dollars worth). http://skeptico.blogs.com/skeptico/2005/04/what_the_bleep_.html

Thanks for your feedback Michael - and for coming to the presentation. I truly appreciate your input.
The argument about science and pseudo science is alive and well throughout the world. Not to say that all scientific claims are valid but volumes of legitimate scientific studies on Quantum Physics principles exist - along with some fascinating studies on consciousness as part of that.
And muscle testing may not be legitimate in your world but after 9 years of using it with clients - and tens of thousands (if not more) practitioners also using it in various modalities - and more importantly seeing phenomenal efficacy from using it to communicate with the body (many many times where Western medicine failed) - I need no further proof.
I believe we are in a time where science is seeing only what it decrees is legitimate by it's standards that are locked into a Newtonian paradigm that keep it well locked up. It's true - the option challenges everything that many have based their whole life and life's work on. As you can tell from my talk, I'm a proponent of the option and am willing to stretch to attempt to understand and work with those principles. In my experience it provides more and better results, much more hope and far more personal power.
I totally accept that many agree with me and many disagree. That's just how it is in 2014.
Thanks again.
PS - I'm aware that there's controversy over the What the Bleep movies. Because of you pointing that out again I will not use them as reference material without mentioning the controversy. A producer's bias will indeed limit credibility - but it doesn't erase the legitimate science that existed before the movie was made.

……………could you possibly be a bit more pragmatic………….

writers ,musicians, poets, lovers, dreamers and thinkers get there first…..

science is always playing ketchup
