beautiful/friendly cat in need of home

Posted by Shara on March 14, 2014, 2:44 pm

Hi all,
I am writing in hopes that someone might want to adopt a beautiful and very friendly cat who hangs around Los Titos restaurant. She is fairly small and white, grey and orange. Super friendly and seems to be in good health, I think some generous folks have been giving her food sometimes. She has been spayed and dewormed and would make a fabulous/ loving pet. Please contact me if you are interested and I will help find her, I see her almost every day around Los Titos area, she is always looking for food and I am concerned about her in the summer months when many of the people who are feeding her leave. She is such a sweet heart and I would adopt her myself if I didn't travel so often. muchos gracias!!

Shara, how certain are you that this cat doesn't, already have a home. She is very friendly and we, like you, thought she was homeless and brought her back to our place, put down some milk and cat food, which she kind of nibbled at. She was loafed with flees and was very patient with us while we applied the anti flea drops on her. Then she looked around a bit and soon went to the front door and cried insistently to get out. We opened the door and she scampered back toward Titos. The next day I was speaking to a local about the cat and she said she knew her as "Titos Cat " who would get in your lap while you were having lunch at Titos.

Long story short, I really don,t know if the cat is homeless or not but you may want to check with the people at Titos before you relocate her.

I believe your heart is in the right place but I disagree that the cat needs a (new) home. She is home. We have enjoyed the cat, fed her sometimes, and had her spayed (thanks Cisco Amigos).
She is clearly a happy feline and her home consists of much bigger territory than Los Titos. In the mornings, she is often playing in the sand in front of Guacamole restaurant where she is well known. The fishermen often have bait fish for her. Sure she is always looking for food, what cat isn't? But when full, she'll sniff and walk away with her tail in the air.
I have seen other cats with a lot rougher life than her in the area, year after year.
Whether she continues her life where she is or gets turned into a pet, I've enjoyed knowing her...

Hi John,
Thanks for your reply, I guess I have no need to worry about her, seems she is being looked after.
