Pets Poisoned

It has been brought to my attention that there have been several, what appears to be, dogs and cats poisoned along the road coming into town. Foaming at the mouth, seizures and rapid death is a pretty clear sign of Strychnine.
Please be very careful with your animals if you live close to the road coming into town. The deaths have been reported from around the church all the way to the welding shop.
It takes a very careless individual or a really sick one to do this.
I can only wish the same death to them.

Thank you to Cisco's Amigos for the helpful, though disheartening news. Our bright and beautiful, friendly dog Lokita 'Loka', made her daily social rounds to her many friends two-legged and four, in that vicinity. She uncharacteristically didn't come home two and a half weeks ago, and we have been tortured with anxiety as to her whereabouts, ever since. So very sad...

That makes 5 dogs and Nancy's beautiful cat that I know of.
It takes a very small amount to cause death and it of course is poisonous to humans . I worry about all the children that walk the road.
Please tell your neighbors to be very careful. It could be anywhere.
