St. Patrick's Day Celebration at Lora Loka's Mon Mar 17th - SOLD OUT!

Posted by Paddy Slate on March 16, 2014, 11:05 pm

As of mid-afternoon Sunday all seats had been sold for a full house.

For those of you who didn't manage to secure a seat and who still want to enjoy the Irish pub-style singsong starting around 8:00 to 8:15 PM, the area outside Lora Loka's to the south and west. (on the beach) may offer a good vantage point to watch and listen - and maybe even to sing along and kick up your heels.

On a separate notice congratulations to Gerant (Taffy) Wilkes, to Triskele, and to Willie at Palapa Joe's for kicking off St. Patrick's celebrations with a feast of music, song, stories, and jokes - and a fine feed of ham and mustard, cabbage, potatoes, and trimmings on Sunday night. Many thanks 'Taffy' for the sporting acknowledgement of Ireland Six Nations Rugby Championship success and for the 'plug' re:the Mar 17th party at Lora Loka's.

I agree t'was a fine evening we all enjoyed at Palapa Joe's St. Patricks Day event. Geraint carried the night in great style - his rich tenor voice, humour and charisma in great form as some wee faeries had their own bit of fun with us. Triskele added their wonderful song; Miranda having a fun time reminding the lads it was the Irish we were celebrating... Food and staff at Willie's are always great!
Hope the hornpiper drops in at Lora's tonight.
