St. Patrick's Day Party Thank Yous

Congratulations and many thanks to all who helped make the St. Patrick's Day Party at Lora Loka's a big success and a grand evening indeed.
Firstly, many thanks to the musicians who entered into the spirit of the occasion and got us all clapping, tapping, stomping, hollering, and singing and dancing. Thank you Will and Ann Schmid, Kevin Mitchell, Susan Biggs, and Triskele (Michael Price and Myranda O'Byrne).
A big thank you as well to all the singers, storytellers, reciters of poetry, and the group of ladies who danced so spontaneously and joyfully, ably led by Myranda O'Byrne and Maedb Persram. Entertainers included Peter Earley, Rose Persram, Joy Twist (and yours truly, Paddy Slater).
Thank you too to Lora Loka and Gerry for hosting the evening in style along with their kitchen crew, George and Lily from Edmonton, and Vanessa, Olga, and Citlali.
Finally, a very big thank you to the Organizing Committee who pulled the whole evening together on their holidays - Maedb and Rose Persram, Peter Earley (and thanks to Lynda Earley too for pitching in enthusistically), and yours truly, Paddy Slater (helped and supported very well by Joy Twist).
And, of course, a big thank you to all who came out on a Monday evening and supported the event so warmly and enthusiastically.

Thanks Paddy for your energy in all this myrth . I sat outside and marveled at the talent here in La Manzanilla . I've attended many St. Pats events in my life , but the 2 nights of music , dancing , and ofj course abiding in the Irish nectar so thoughtfully provided by W illy were top drawer experiences for me by golly . What a fine celebration . Thank you all .

What a great night that was! A well oiled machine, for sure. In addition to all the names already mentioned, Joanne Kipp barely sat down all night so I would like to thank her for all the help she gave in the kitchen and serving food. The music brought back such fond memories of my childhood, singing with my dad. Thanks everyone for making last night such a fun event!

Many thanks indeed to Joanne Kipp and please accept my apologies, Joanne, for the oversight. We were fortunate and blessed to have had so many generous, gracious, and willing contributors on Monday. Thank you all and thank you Shelagh for your message and to all we met on the beach and through the village as well as on this message board for your kind and gracious comments.
