Bella aka Smilers needs a good home, temporary or permanant. She is a wonder
female about 7 years old, excellent temperment and leash trained!

Hi Daniel,
Has Bella been spayed? If not, I can see if Pro Animal can help cover a part or all of the cost. It would just entail someone taking her to Rocio.

We often run into Laurissa and Bella on the beach when we go to walk Jinx (that crazy, water loving Doberman I'm sure you have all seen running) and Chico our chihuahua. Bella is a very gentle loving dog and I would take her home with us in a heartbeat if our car wasn't already full with 2 dogs and 2 cats! I hope someone can give this gorgeous girl a forever home as she would be a fabulous family pet!

First I would like to thank Daniel for helping me out with the photo and getting it on the board. Just a little more information for anyone interested in this sweetheart. She was spayed about two or three years ago through Cisco's Amigos. There has been some interested folks, but nothing firm so far. Bella/Smilers is a social butterfly and loves people and kids. She is very happy on the beach catching sticks thrown in the water. She has been trained ub some commands in Spanish and is good on the leash, except when she sees one of her friends of which she has many (both dogs and people). She would make a wonderful companion dog. For any further information you can contact me via email or let Daniel know...I see him every day as we walk by. We are leaving for Canada April 3rd, so time is getting shorter.

Thanks for the words of comfort Rick. Bella sure needs some permanency in her life. Life gets harder as they get older so I hope this will be her forever home. I will make a good dogsitter for her people.

Laurisa I am sooooooo happy that lil Bella found a home before you & Ernie left. I am sure it is a double-edged sword for you but at least Bella will be cared for all year instead of half the year, which I know makes you happy. I'm thinking of you and will be in touch. What a wonderful picture June...that's a keeper and a good advertisement for Daniel's favorite refreshment. Thank you so much. I am home in Canada now and every time I open the door to my house I expect to see her greeting me. I'm in touch with her new parents and I know she's very confused right now, but settling in. It will take awhile but thank goodness she know the house and people.

This is such a heart worming story that it brings a tear to my eye . I wish all the stories on the bulletin board could end so happily. And that picture ! What a little beauty !
