A car-less friend joins me in the search for a ride to polo.
If you're planning the trip and have room for two more, please let me know.
Pay for gas? Yes, of course . . . and, hey, why not lunch as well!

As a horse lover, I would love to see polo for the first time, if someone can offer a ride.
Thanks!

Great shot, June, and I loved someone's comment, yesterday, about the horses' leg bandages and saddle pads matching the primaveras!

The dress is "casual Elegance" which normally means long pants and no open toed shoes for men. With the afternoon heat we experience here would I be welcome in a nice pair of Brooks Brothers shorts, a white guayabera shirt, Panama hat and birkenstock sandals?

The short answer, Jac, is Yes.
Both women and men were wearing prretty much everything including short and long trousers, dresses, skirts, and shorts.
Though I didn't focus on men's shoes much, I am sure your Birks will be just fine.
As I recall, the only stylishly ripped and somewhat grubby jeans, however, were worn by competitors following their matches.
