Moving the Tiangus, from the Mayor

I spoke to Fermin, the Mayor, this morning. He was clear that the push to move the Tiangus to another location in LaManz is from La Huerta.

Also affected are our local merchants, food vendors, etc., that have used the Jardin as commercial space in the past.

I understand that the goal is to restore the Jardin to a noncommercialized space, always available for the townspeople.

The Mayor was also clear that there is no effort underway to remove the Tiangud from LaManz.

So does this mean that there will be no more food vendors at el jardin on weekend evenings? No churros, flan, hambuergesas? No Argentinian chorizo sandwiches? These are all commercial ventures, no?

Vendors will be in the street, adjacent to the Jardin, leaving the entire jardin open for foot traffic.

The corners of the Jardin, with new ramps for better access, will remain clear of vendors,etc..

How ridiculous for one day a week and most of the townspeople that La Huerta are concerned about using the Jardin are there shopping and socializing.
What contact can we talk to in La Huerta?? anyone know??

I wonder why La Huerta is not concerned about the non functional sewer system...
