Excellent photos Sheelagh (as usual)
I was asleep, some friends came by around 2 am or so and woke me up.
I went out to the beach to see the full ecplise. Over the next hour or so
it got brighter and brighter starting at the bottom left corner going up toward
the right top. I was glad they woke me, worth seeing. Got back to bed
around 4:30. Loved it.

So did you get to see the eclipse...it was beautiful here the night before and then of course it was cloudy and wet,after all it is the wet coast on the big night. Rats and I even got up! How are you 2.

WOW Great photos. We were on our way back to California, camping at Oregon Pipe Natl. Park in Arizona(just across the border) when we saw the moon in shadow in the middle of the night. Lots of stars and constellations in that clear sky.

We missed it as that night it happened to rain! Surprise when you live on the wet coast!
