Daniel, it's always great to see the beach bar again...even though La Manzanilla is over for a long while for Gary and myself...it's always a happy memory for us...Gary and I after 4 yrs of the season in La Manzanilla, have gone off to other adventures...we will be seeing Sebastien formerly of Jolanda's in Brussels in just a couple of weeks...May 11 we head to Europe for 5 weeks with a surprise visit to Dubai (air miles via Alaskan Airlines)...maybe one day we will meet up again...we have made many friends there...and now meeting up with them in different countries...Jackie Viallba (spelling) is here in WA and we have been getting together...Anne Adams is on the adventure of a life time...I'm not sure if you keep in touch with her...anyway...love to you...see you sometime on the flip side..

What surprised me was just down the beach towards town were the boulders washed up. Boulders, not rocks. I will try and take pics tomorrow. We lived here for eight years full time once and one never knew what the ocean handed you each day. Nature is amazing. I just want it to stay out of my Casa.

Yes, Daniel, 'funner' is a word . . . depending on what you call a dictionary. :o)
Here's what the Oxford has to say:
The use of fun as an adjective meaning enjoyable, as in we had a fun evening, is not fully accepted in standard English and should only be used in informal contexts. There are signs that this situation is changing, though, given the recent appearance in US English of comparative and superlative forms funner and funnest, formed as if fun were a normal adjective.
